Every now and then the dreaded "GRY" puzzle makes the e-mail rounds. (And if you have not done so cut and past the "GRY" puzzle above and send to all your friends to drive them nuts.) I think what confuses me, and I think most of you are the little changes in the wording of the puzzle. Which can change the solution or even make it have no solution at all. The Solution:
Now it should be noted that if you were to check the dictionary you will find a few other words ending in "GRY." Even gry is a word. But most of the versions of the puzzle state a common word or it states that the word is in the puzzle or related to it.
